DAIKON is the first print in our Yasai 野菜 series. Daikon radishes are usually planted in September for harvest from December to March and are considered a symbol of fertility, health and longevity in Japan, making them the supreme winter vegetable.
Production
Each print is cut, sewn, and screen printed by hand with water-based inks on 100% cotton. The prints are ready to hang with two loops in the top corners – no framing or extra materials required, but they will also fit nicely in a standard size frames.
